Beginner Group Snowboard Courses
If you have never been on a snowboard before, or want to start at the complete beginning this course is for you.
In total, a beginner course offers 15 hours of tuition, Starting at the very beginning of your snowboard journey we will show you everything from how to strap into your snowboard and progress right through to riding around the mountain.
What to expect.....
Day 1 -
We will go through all the basics you need to know starting with your equipment showing you how that works. Getting used to how the board feels on your feet and moving around on the snow. We then progress into 'Side Slipping' and 'Falling Leaf' this is learning how to control your speed and then control your direction coming down the nursery slope at first. This will give you plenty to practice for the remainder of the afternoon.
Day 2 -
After learning how to control your speed and direction we will move onto 'Turns' Learning how to go from one edge to the other. This is how you will later ride down the mountain.
Day 3 -
If we haven't already, we will venture away from the nursery slope and onto the amazing terrain, the 'Espace Killy' has to offer. We will strengthen our turning technique and start to add some 'Flow' and 'Style' to your riding.
Day 4 -
Having now been on a few different slopes and able to navigate around the mountain a bit easier we will attack some slightly steeper slopes and also introduce some basic 'freestyle'. Defiantly a day for the camera.
Day 5 -
The last day of the course, this one is all up to you. As a group, we will decide where we would like to go and what we would like to focus on.
Please note, this is just a guideline and may change depending on the group's ability and learning styles.

Intermediate Group Snowboard Courses
If you are happy turning down green runs and can ride down blue runs mostly turning this is for you.
The intermediate snowboard courses are to help progress your riding by building confidence, technique, and style. This is achieved in the most relaxed, friendly yet progressive way possible.
What to expect....
Day 1 -
As it may have been 12 months since you last snowboarded, we will always start off slowly making sure all your equipment is set up correctly for you to get the most out of your week. We focus on how you are standing on and steering your snowboard. You will go away from the first lesson feeling comfortable in your equipment and have regained the knowledge of how everything works.
Day 2 -
More ground will be covered on day two, focusing on getting a rhythm and flow into your snowboarding on gentle slopes at first. We will talk about how to turn the board more efficiently and hopefully try a slightly steeper yet short slope to build confidence
Day 3 -
You will be introduced to the wonders of carving. You will become aware of how effortless this can become on gentle slopes and how useful it can be to get across those horrible flatter sections on the mountain.
Day 4 -
Today is the day we ride steeper terrain, we will start small and work up with all the correct techniques to attack steeper slopes. Don't be put off by this, we will have been building up to this point for the last few of days.
Day 5 -
The last day of the course we will decide what we want to cover as a group, no doubt we will enter the snowpark to have a go at some small boxes or jumps. Whatever we choose to do it will be fun and will push your riding.
Please note, this is just a guideline and may change depending on the group's ability and learning styles.
Intermediate courses run Monday to Friday 9.15am - 12.15pm.

Day 3 -
We learn how to carve our snowboard around the turn, firstly on gentle terrain and then progressing to something a little steeper. We focus on edge control and will also add some cool carving tricks to your repertoire. We will also cover some switch riding.
